Delegation in xGov
Valar's xGov Delegation platform gives participants in the xGov Algorand governance program a permissionless, fully on-chain way to delegate their voting power to registered representatives while keeping configurable control. Representatives can easily vote on behalf of unlimited number of users.

Delegate with Delay
A delay can be set so the xGov has time to vote directly.
One Registry, Two Roles
xGov Delegation coordinates the full on-chain flow between representatives and delegators. Representatives register once and publish their votes on proposals, while xGovs create voter contracts that define delegation and enable automatic execution, which is incentivized to ensure high reliability.
The result is a permissionless delegation model integrated with the xGov smart contracts. xGovs can switch representatives at any time and set a delay before voting with the representative, which gives them room to vote directly before delegation takes over.
Key Benefits
xGov Delegation helps xGov participants to actively participate on proposal voting - even when they do not have the time or the technical knowledge to evaluate proposals. Representatives publish their positions proposal by proposal and vote automatically based on predefined rules set by individual delegators. Delegators keep full control over their voting power and representation, never giving up any access to their funds.
